While it has long been speculated that a title shot could be on the line for Conor McGregor when he faces Dennis Siver on Jan. 18 in Boston, it is no longer speculation. UFC president Dana White on Thursday confirmed that a victory will earn the brash Irishman a shot at UFC featherweight champion Jose Aldo . “This fight in Boston if he wins this fight he’s going to fight for the title. There is a faction of fans and fighters that believe McGregor, despite being in the midst of a 12-fight winning streak that includes four in the UFC, is jumping the line for a title shot.
