BARUERI, Brazil – Heading into the final minute of the first round, Vitor Miranda seemed like a fighter on his way to giving up an early lead on the scorecards after Jake Collier dominated the action for almost the entirety of the round. But one head kick by Miranda (10-4 MMA, 1-1 UFC) was all it took to turn things around, sending Collier 8-2 MMA, 0-1 UFC) spiraling toward the mat as Miranda followed up with a few more punches to seal the TKO victory just before the horn and bringing an end to the fight at 4:59 of Round 1. The middleweight preliminary-card bout opened today’s UFC Fight Night 58 event at Jose Correa Arena in Barueri, Sao Paulo, Brazil
