Edgar, a former UFC lightweight champion who’s won three straight fights since a loss to Aldo in 2013, won the vote over Conor McGregor , 53 percent to 47. That recently prompted Edgar to direct a message (via Twitter ) to UFC officials Dana White and Lorenzo Fertitta: The numbers don't lie.
