The Brazilian Athletic Commission of MMA recently released the drug test results for UFC 179: Aldo vs. Mendes II with none of the tested fighters returning positive results. All 22 fighters were drug tested, according to CABMMA, although not all were administered the full battery of testing. UFC featherweight champion Jose Aldo and his challenger, Chad Mendes , as well as co-main event fighters Phil Davis and Glover Teixeira, were tested for anabolic agents, diuretics/masking agents, stimulants, cannabinoids, erythropoietin (EPO) and human growth hormone (HGH).
