The California State Athletic Commission on Tuesday released information regarding medical suspensions for the fighters who participated on the Bellator 131 this past weekend. Notably, newly minted lightweight champion Will Brooks could be out as long as six months due to a rib injury he sustained in his win over Michael Chandler in the evening’s co-main event. Clearance for Brooks is pending examination by a physician. Chandler, on the other hand, is facing a 60-day suspension due to a laceration of his right interior eye, which is also pending clearance by a physician
