Nam Phan wasn’t sure he’d ever get another opportunity to compete on a large stage. But when Scott Coker took over the role of Bellator MMA president earlier this year, Phan knew he could get one last shot. Phan fought under Coker for the now-defunct Strikeforce organization more than six years ago. However, when he received an opportunity to compete on “The Ultimate Fighter” reality show, Phan jumped ship to the UFC.
