Dillashaw doesn’t necessarily disagree with teammate Chad Mendes ’ claim that Jose Aldo doesn’t do enough to sell his own fights, but he’s also not convinced that it’s solely a matter of what the featherweight champ does or doesn’t say in the weeks leading up to the event. “To tell you the truth, I think Aldo hasn’t been selling his fights with his performances,” Dillashaw told MMAjunkie. “He’s been too happy to sit back and out-point guys and be safe.” That, according to Dillashaw, is the real reason that Aldo’s title defenses haven’t always been blockbuster events
