Bellator interim bantamweight champ Joe Warren (11-3 MMA, 9-2 BMMA) insists that undisputed champ Eduardo Dantas (16-3 MMA, 6-0 BMMA) ran from a fight with him despite a reported head injury that delayed their first scheduled meeting at Bellator 118 in May. Warren even thinks the Brazilian has made a habit of ducking challenges, he told MMAjunkie. “Eduardo Dantas is a champion who’s scared and runs away from competitors,” he said. “I’ve been trying to fight this guy for a long time now. He’s a young kid – what do you expect? Champions stand in there and defend their belts.
