On the heels of back-to-back wins using his fists, Bellator welterweight Karo Parisyan is feeling pretty good about his prospects for the future. “You could say that I’m the most dangerous Karo Parisyan ever right now, just because I can throw you, I can submit you or I can knock you out wherever the fight goes,” he told MMAjunkie. “I wouldn’t say I’m a great stand-up guy right now, but I’m a pretty decent striker.” Parisyan, of course, is known as the fighter who brought judo to the UFC, long before women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey made throws popular, and also the fighter who’s struggles with anxiety took him from world-title contender to UFC expat. For a while, it looked like Parisyan was fast headed to pasture.
