Here’s how it usually works if you’re a UFC fighter: You’re given an opponent and a date, you train your butt off for roughly two or three months, then you show up, make weight, fight and hopefully win. Then you go home and wait for the call that will tell you when and where and against whom you’ll be doing it all again.
