There have been plenty of opinions about Bellator MMA’s regime change, with Bjorn Rebney sent packing and former Strikeforce head Scott Coker taking over as president. Along with that change came a new mentality for the promotion, which will move away from its tournament format to focus instead on big fights, and more traditional title shots. And that’s where Doug Marshall believes the tide will swing in his favor. Marshall (18-7 MMA, 4-1 BMMA) on Friday meets fellow gunslinger Melvin Manhoef (28-11-1 MMA, 0-0 BMMA) in the main event of Bellator 125, which takes place at Save Mart Center in Fresno, Calif.
