UFC flyweight champion Demetrious Johnson and his UFC 178 challenger, Chris Cariaso , were subjected to random drug tests by the Nevada Athletic Commission (NAC), according to a report on Wednesday evening. Johnson and Cariaso are scheduled to headline the UFC 178 pay-per-view in Las Vegas, which is under the jurisdiction of the NAC. News of the random tests was first reported by “UFC Tonight.” Johnson and Cariaso may not be the only fighters randomly tested for the card, the FOX Sports 1 program added. Every fighter on the card is subject to random testing through the Sept. 27 fight date, said commission chairman Francisco Aguilar, according to the program. Fighters on the card can expect to be tested, regardless of their current licensure status with the state of Nevada.
