Renan Barao has received heat from UFC President Dana White, fellow fighters, fans and others for his last-minute withdrawal from this past month’s UFC 177 main event with champ T.J. Dillashaw. One person standing by Barao’s side, though, is fellow Brazilian Marlon Moraes . The reigning WSOF bantamweight champion feels the MMA world is “going too hard” on Barao after he was hospitalized and was forced out of the fight just prior to weigh-ins. “I think they’re going too hard on him,” Moraes told MMAjunkie. “It’s just the first time it’s happened.
