It was true when the sport first started to flourish, and it’s equally true now: Being an MMA fighter can be a tough way to make a living. On Saturday “The Ultimate Fighter 18″ veteran Peggy Morgan fought at Invicta FC 8. Despite a noble effort in her UFC Fight Pass-streamed bout, Morgan (2-2) proved no match for Mexican bantamweight prospect Irene Aldana (4-1). She survived one flurry, but when Aldana followed with another, Morgan crashed to the mat and ultimately tapped out from a first-round rear-naked choke . Following the fight, Morgan posted a photo (via Twitter ): Rough night.
