Bellator MMA announced it was back in the women’s MMA game earlier this month, and on Wednesday it announced the latest addition to the roster. Italian featherweight Annalisa Bucci (7-3 MMA, 0-0 BMMA) has signed with the promotion, Bellator announced. There is no word yet on when she’ll debut with Bellator, but her first with with the company will be her first in the U.S. Bucci joins recent Bellator women’s featherweight signees Talita Nogueira, a Brazilian jiu-jitsu specialist; former Strikeforce champion Marloes Coenen; and Invicta FC vet Julia Budd. “I feel extremely honored, excited and thankful to be part of the first group of females fighting for (President) Scott Coker in the new Bellator MMA women’s division,” Bucci stated. “I cannot find the right words to truly express how I feel.
