Wanderlei Silva was not intentionally skipping a Nevada State Athletic Commission hearing — his presence was not required, according to his lawyer. Ross Goodman, Silva’s Las Vegas-based attorney, today told MMAjunkie that he received an email that said the fighter didn’t need to be represented at today’s hearing in Las Vegas. “I do not see a reason for you to appear on Thursday, because I’m just going to ask them to table it until their next agenda,” said Goodman, relaying an email he said was from Nevada Deputy Attorney General Chris Eccles about the fighter’s disciplinary hearing on today’s agenda.
