Gray Maynard and Ross Pearson squared off at UFC Fight Night 47 in Bangor, Maine, on Saturday night, with both men trying to get on course in the UFC lightweight division. Maynard came into the fight having lost three of his last four bouts, which included failing to take the UFC lightweight champion from Frankie Edgar.
