It appears the UFC is moving closer to booking a proposed bout between featherweight contenders Frankie Edgar and Cub Swanson . Edgar (17-4-1 MMA, 11-4-1 UFC) recently called for the bout while talking to MMAjunkie, and Swanson (21-5 MMA, 6-1 UFC) now appears open to it.
