Despite the threat of a fine from the Nevada State Athletic Commission, recently suspended Chael Sonnen will apparently go through with a planned headliner at this weekend’s Metamoris 4 event. The grappling match, which comes against Andre Galvao at Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles, follows Sonnen’s recent hearing with the NSAC. After Sonnen failed two drug tests due to a variety of banned substances and he subsequently announced his retirement, the NSAC handed the former UFC title challenger his punishment on July 23.
