Conor McGregor ‘s returnto the Octagon is finally official after he and opponent Diego Brandao made weight at Friday’s UFC Fight Night Dublin weigh-ins. No European fighter in recent memory has lit up the Octagon the way that the brash Irishman has. But after back-to-back victories upon his arrival to the Octagon, McGregor suffered a torn ACL and has been sidelined for the better part of the past year. He’s ready to continue his climb towards a title shot in Saturday’s main event against Brandao, who is stepping in for the injured Cole Miller. McGregor and Brandao were both jumping out of their skin after stepping off the scale, obviously itching to get in the Octagon and start the fight. UFC president Dana White, with a rabid crowd of Irish fans screaming at the top of their lungs, kept McGregor and Brandao from going at it on the weigh-in stage
