Lightweight contender Michael Johnson has been forced out of his UFC on FOX 12 bout against Josh Thomson due to injury, with Bobby “King” Green stepping in to face “The Punk” on July 26 at the SAP Center in San Jose, California. UFC officials confirmed the injury and opponent change on Friday. Green, winner of seven straight, was originally scheduled to face Abel Trujillo on the August 16 UFC Fight Night card in Maine.
