SAN ANTONIO – In a fight that turned into a slow, steady grind, Ricardo Lamas (14-3 MMA, 5-1 UFC) wore down Hacran Dias (21-3-1 MMA, 1-2 UFC) and suffocated his offense en route to a unanimous decision victory (30-27, 30-27, 29-28). The featherweight bout was part of the main card of today’s UFC Fight Night 44 event at AT&T Center in San Antonio. It aired on FOX Sports 1 following prelim on FOX Sports 1 and UFC Fight Pass. Lamas committed himself to getting the fight to the floor early on, but Dias refused to go down easily
