MFC middleweight champ Sam Alvey is headed to the UFC to face Tom “Kong” Watson at UFC Fight Night 47 in Bangor, Maine. UFC officials on Monday confirmed the bout first reported by the Bangor Daily News. Alvey (23-5, 1 NC) currently holds the Maximum Fighting Championship 185-pound title, but last competed on May 31 under the NAFC banner, winning a unanimous decision over Gerald Meerschaert.
