Matt Hamill (11-5) will have to wait a bit longer to make his debut for WSOF. WSOF matchmaker Ali Abdelaziz on Wednesday told MMAjunkie the veteran light heavyweight suffered a knee injury and will be unable to appear in the promotion’s debut on NBC at WSOF 11, which is scheduled for July 5 at Ocean Center in Daytona, Fla. Hamill, 37, signed with WSOF seven months after his exit from the UFC, which came on the heels of a 1-3 run in the octagon. He retired from competition in 2011 following a lackluster TKO loss to current No. 1 contender Alex Gustafsson, but he returned one year later with a decision win over Roger Hollett at UFC 152
