The UFC’s first trip to Albuqueque, N.M. was certainly a memorable one as Saturday’s UFC Fight Night 42 event from Tingley Coliseum was filled with knockouts, submissions, questionable decisions and much more. Former UFC lightweight champion Benson Henderson (21-3 MMA, 9-1 UFC) was one of the top performers of the show as he submitted Rustam Khabilov (17-2 MMA, 3-1 UFC) in the fourth round of the main event to snap a four-year drought without a finish. “Smooth” previously held a dubious record for earning his first eight UFC victories by decision.
