ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – Three rounds into a fight he was controlling in every conceivable sense, Jon Tuck seemed content to chip away at Jake Lindsey rather than going full-throttle for the finish. As it turned out, that victory-by-inches approach was enough to put away Lindsey (9-1 MMA, 0-1 UFC), as a heel strike to the ribs from Tuck (8-1 MMA, 2-1 UFC) elicited a tap, bringing a sudden and unusual end to the bout at the 2:47 mark of Round 3.
