Media mogul Jay Z and legendary fighter Anderson Silva have come together to produce a new series for Jay Z’s Life+Times web channel. The series, entitled STATIC, delves deeper into some of the most hotly contested rivalries in mixed martial arts, giving fans a much more thorough understanding of the friction between the fighters. The series premiere features the rivalry between Anderson Silva and Chael Sonnen, going behind the scenes of one of the greatest rivalries that the sport has ever scene, and arguably the rivalry that launched the WWE-esque Chael Sonnen persona that we know today. The officials synopsis for the first episode: In 2010 the biggest name and the undisputed best fighter in the UFC was Brazilian Anderson “The Spider” Silva.
