Daniel Cormier ’s (15-0 MMA, 4-0 UFC) decision to make a quick turnaround following his knockout of Patrick Cummins this past February paid off in a big way on Saturday night, as the former Olympian kept his perfect MMA record in tact with a win over Dan Henderson (30-12 MMA, 7-6 UFC) in the UFC 173 co-main event. After dominating Henderson on the ground for the first two rounds, Cormier finished the former PRIDE and Strikeforce champion off in the third round with a submission.
