UFC Fight Night 40 results, photos: Matt Brown stops Erick Silva in ‘Fight of Year’ effort

CINCINNATI – Like his fighting nickname suggests, Matt Brown  may truly be “The Immortal.” The welterweight looked to be finished in the opening seconds of his bout with Erick Silva  but somehow battled back for a third-round TKO win in a certain “Fight of the Year” candidate. The welterweight bout was the main event of today’s UFC Fight Night 40 event at U.S. Bank Arena in Cincinnati.
