The Ultimate Fighting Championship has never held an event in Maine, the state where company president Dana White graduated high school. But that’s about to change. White on Thursday happily announced that he would be taking his fight promotion to Maine’s capital city, Bangor, on Aug. 16, for a UFC Fight Night event at the new Cross Insurance Center.
