Nate Diaz ‘s rep doesn’t have much to say about UFC President Dana White’s comment this past weekend that his fighter is “ready to fight.” That’s a given, he said. “I don’t have a clue what that means, but he’s always ready to fight,” Mike Kogan told MMAjunkie. “But we’ll see. We’ll see what happens.” Following this past weekend’s UFC 172, White relayed a conversation he had with UFC matchmaker Joe Silva, who said he’d spoken with Diaz (17-9 MMA, 12-7 UFC). “I think Joe Silva did and Nate said he’s ready to fight, so he told Joe to call him,” White said. On its face, that seems good news for a fighter who only recently was asking for his release from the promotion, which in turn told him to get back to work.
