ABU DHABI – The UFC’s return to the Middle East resulted in healthy attendance and live-gate figures. Today’s UFC Fight Night 39 event, which took place at the makeshift du Arena in Abu Dhabi, resulted in an attendance of 7,963, UFC executive Gerry Cook announced in the post-fight press conference. It pushed the announced live-gate tally to $1.8 million for the outdoor show. The UFC first visited Abu Dhabi for UFC 112 in 2010
