A pair of unbeaten lightweights have been matched up for the UFC’s May trip to Brazil. Ernest Chavez (7-0 MMA, 1-0 UFC) takes on Brazil’s Elias Silverio (10-0 MMA, 2-0 UFC) at UFC Fight Night 42 in Brazil. Promotion officials announced the new bout on Wednesday. UFC Fight Night 42 takes place at Ibirapuera Gymnasium in Sao Paulo, Brazil. The event will be headlined by a fight between current “TUF: Brazil 3″ coaches Wanderlei Silva and Chael Sonnen. Chavez is coming off a split-decision win in his UFC debut against Yosdenis Cedeno at UFC 170 in February in Las Vegas.
