With injury forcing Tor Troeng out of a planned UFC 171 fight with Robert McDaniel (21-7 MMA, 1-1 UFC), Sean Strickland (13-0 MMA, 0-0 UFC) has agreed to step in as a replacement opponent. UFC officials today announced the change. UFC 171 takes place March 15 at Dallas’ American Airlines Center. The evening’s five-fight main card on pay-per-view following prelims that air on FOX Sports 1 and stream on UFC Fight Pass. Troeng revealed late last week that he injured his shoulder in training and would be forced out of the fight.
