JARAGUA DO SUL, Brazil – Finally, Charles Oliveira came back to Santa Catarina. Nearly four years to the day after his most recent fight in his home country, Oliveira returned and made the wait worth its while. Oliveira (17-4 MMA, 5-4 UFC) stopped a game underdog in Andy Ogle (9-4 MMA, 1-3 UFC) with a third-round triangle choke to open the main card of UFC Fight Night 36, and in doing so, not only did he get much praise from a crowd that had endured seven straight 15-minute decisions, but he picked up a $50,000 “Performance of the Night” bonus to go along with his win. UFC Fight Night 36 took place at Arena Jaragua in Jaragua do Sul, Santa Catarina, Brazil.
