A fight between UFC champions Jose Aldo and Anthony Pettis is one that nearly everyone wants to see, and all parties are agreed upon. So why is it taking so long to put the fight together? Because lightweight champion Anthony Pettis is still sidelined with an injury from which he hasn’t yet been given a firm timetable for his return. Following surgery in early December to repair a torn posterior cruciate ligament, doctors told Pettis to expect to be out of action for six to eight months.
