NEWARK, N.J. – After a night of decisions, Saturday’s UFC 169 headliner between bantamweight champion Renan Barao (32-1 MMA, 7-0 UFC) and Urijah Faber (30-7 MMA, 6-3 UFC) resulted in a quick stoppage. Unfortunately, it wasn’t without controversy. Their bout, which aired on pay-per-view from Newark, N.J.’s Prudential Center, resulted in a TKO win for Barao. Faber, though, immediately protested referee Herb Dean’s stoppage.
