NEWARK, N.J. – Ali Bagautinov admits he’s facing a similar opponent on Saturday when he and John Lineker meet at UFC 169. But there’s one big difference: “I’m smarter,” Bagautinov told MMAjunkie. Bagautinov (12-2 MMA, 2-0 UFC) and Lineker (23-6 MMA, 4-1 UFC) meet on the UFC 169 main card, which airs on pay-per-view from Newark, N.J.’s Prudential Center. The flyweight bout is likely to determine the next title challenger for champion Demetrious Johnson, and oddsmakers have tapped the fight one of the closest matchups on the UFC 169 card. They – and most fans – expect a slugfest between the hard-hitting 125-pounders.
