NEWARK, N.J. – If you saw Abel Trujillo ‘s most recent fight, his game plan for his next one probably won’t surprise you too much. “Pure violence, baby,” he told MMAjunkie. “Pure violence.” Trujillo (11-5 MMA, 2-1 UFC) meets fellow lightweight Jamie Varner (21-8-1 MMA, 3-3 UFC), a replacement for injured Bobby Green, on Saturday at UFC 169. Their bout kicks off the night’s pay-per-view main card from Newark, N.J.’s Prudential Center. It’s the first fight since Trujillo’s impressive highlight-reel TKO win over Roger Bowling at UFC on FOX 9 in December.
