Julianna Peña Out of UFC 171 with “Severe” Knee Injury, but Sarah Kaufman Wants to Step In

The Ultimate Fighter Season 18  winner Julianna Peña is out of her planned UFC 171 bout with Jessica Andrade due to a knee injury. Peña confirmed the knee injury on Twitter and told FoxSports.com that she believed it was severe. Her current plan is to fly to Los Angeles next week to have surgery and begin rehabilitation. The injury occurred during a grappling session during training when Peña hyper-extended her knee.
