CHICAGO – If Daron Cruickshank can get his inconsistency problems under control, he thinks he can reach his ultimate goal: a 4-0 record in 2014. Cruickshank (14-4 MMA, 4-2 UFC), who stopped lightweight Mike Rio (9-4 MMA, 1-3 UFC) today at UFC on FOX 10, said a few consistent performances and focused training camps could turn around a sometimes-inconsistent UFC career. In his preliminary-card bout, which aired on FOX Sport 1 from Chicago’s United Center, Cruickshank felt he was at his best, which resulted in a dramatic second-round stoppage. “As long as I’m at my best, you’re going to have a show every single time,” the striker said.
