CHICAGO – At least one notable promoter has an optimistic view about MMA’s regulatory landscape heading into the rest of 2014. UFC President Dana White, who’s often led the charge in public criticism of state athletic commissions, believes recent changes in California and Nevada are positive signs. “Everywhere I go, I have the feeling and the commissions give me the feeling that everyone wants to make it better,” White said earlier this week (skip to the 2:15 mark of the above video). It’s certainly a rosier picture than was painted in 2013.
