As a reminder, the new reality series from UFC President Dana White and “The Ultimate Fighter” producer Craig Piligian debuts tonight at 9 p.m. ET on Discovery Channel. “The Fighters,” an eight-part series, sees amateur boxers from rival gyms in Boston’s “Southie” neighborhood chosen to train for a week before fighting, with a chance to stay in the spotlight heading toward a pro boxing career. Former boxer and current gym owner and trainer Peter Welch will be charged with getting the city’s best trainers to bring up-and-coming fighters along with the hope of reviving boxing in Boston. “Boxing has always been my favorite sport and it led me to where I am today,” White stated
