SACRAMENTO – The pay-per-view price tag for this month’s UFC 168 blockbuster is going up $5 on most cable and satellite platforms, and though many fans have objected to the nearly $60 overall fee, UFC President Dana White believes there’s a simple solution. “It’s five bucks,” he said in Saturday’s post-UFC on FOX 9 media scrum ( watch the video ). “Get a couple more friends and have them come over.” Fans may not be jazzed about the cost – even if splitting it multiple ways with their friends – but if there were ever a fight card that could demand the increased fee, it’s likely UFC 168, which takes place Dec. 28 at Las Vegas’ MGM Grand Garden Arena.
