SACRAMENTO – Demetrious Johnson had a strong answer to the critics who say flyweights don’t pack a punch. Johnson (19-2-1 MMA, 7-1-1 UFC) retained his flyweight title with a monstrous knockout of top contender Joseph Benavidez (19-4 MMA, 6-2 UFC) in Saturday’s UFC on FOX 9 headliner at Sacramento’s Sleep Train Arena. Johnson picked up the quickest knockout in UFC 125-pound history after blasting the challenger with a big right hand and follow-up punches. Check out the highlights (which the UFC makes available only to U.S. viewers) above. And for complete coverage of UFC on FOX 9 , stay tuned to the UFC Events section of the site.
