Coming into the fight, many saw former UFC light heavyweight champion Mauricio “Shogun” Rua as damaged goods, but he proved the doubters wrong, scoring a highlight-reel knockout over James Te Huna in the co-main event at UFC Fight Night 33 in Brisbane, Australia, on Friday night. Shogun started on the front foot, landing a right hand on Te Huna, before throwing stinging leg kicks. As Te Huna came forward to land a shot, he was crumbled to the mat by a short left hand on the inside from Shogun.
