The main event of the UFC’s 20th anniversary show was overshadowed by controversy as welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre came away with a questionable split-decision victory against Johny Hendricks . Many believe Hendricks (15-2 MMA, 10-2 UFC) should have earned the nod in the UFC 167 headliner; however, two of the three judges scoring the fight ringside felt differently, giving St-Pierre (25-2 MMA, 19-2 UFC) the win. “Rush” was pushed to his limit for all 25 minutes of the championship contest, and at the end of the battle, it appeared a new champion was about to be crowned at Las Vegas’ MGM Grand Garden Arena.
