There was once a time when UFC president Dana White said that women would “never” grace the inside of the Octagon. Following the unabashed success of starting a women’s 135-pound division, with UFC women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey leading the charge, White on Friday revealed that the UFC is finally ready to take women’s MMA a step further. The brash UFC president revealed on Friday’s “The Fighter & The Kid” podcast on FoxSports.com that his company is currently working on adding a women’s 115-pound division.
