A lightweight bout between Yves Edwards and Yancy Medeiros has been added to the UFC: Fight for the Troops 3 card in Fort Campbell, Kentucky. UFC officials announced the match-up on Sunday. Edwards (42-20-1) hopes to rebound from back-to-back losses. The UFC veteran is coming off consecutive split decision losses to Isaac Vallie-Flagg and Daron Cruickshank in his last two outings. Medeiros (9-1) made his way to the UFC through the Strikeforce organization. The Hawaiian made his UFC debut at UFC 159, suffering his first career loss to Rustam Khabilov.
