Alex Pereira is the only fighter in combat sports history to become a two-division champion in both the UFC and Glory Kickboxing. Though, he can’t be considered an elite martial artist until he has learned deadly techniques from Steven Seagal , right? Seagal rose to fame in the entertainment industry, making a name for himself as an actor in the 90s. However, that acting extends way beyond what he did on the big screen, managing to seep it’s way into his martial arts background. While the 72-year-old is a martial arts veteran and 7th Dan Aikido black-belt, many consider his style ineffective in a real fight. The doubters haven’t stopped him from believing in himself, and strangely enough, the eccentric Aikido practitioner claimed that he is the reason for Lyoto Machida and Anderson Silva’s success in the octagon.
